Speak up for nature!

Meet with your MP on Wednedsay 24 June and join hundreds of nature-loving lobbyists as we call for change.

There's never been a more critical time to stand up and take action.

What’s a mass lobby?

Unlike a protest march or demonstration, a lobby is when people come together to meet their MPs and remind them what their constituents care about most. It’s democracy in action and a chance to make people in power pay attention.

Find out more.

What will the event include?

The event kicks off at Methodist Central Hall from 10.00am. This will be our hub for the day, with inspirational talks from Robert Macfarlane and Jackie Morris, Nadeem Perera, Sophie Pavelle, and Lucy Lapwing.

The Hall will be abuzz with other nature-lovers, including those from your region, so you can chat and share ideas before heading off to your MP meeting together. RSPB experts, artists and a variety of stalls will also be on hand to answer any questions you have.

I’m not an expert – what would I say?

You don’t need to be an expert – this is your chance to speak from the heart about what matters to you. Just let us know you want to be part of the action, and we’ll support you every step of the way.

Don’t miss out - register now. All attendees must register individually and in advance to participate in the lobby. Please feel free to invite friends and family too - everyone is welcome!

Let's keep in touch - on your terms

Thank you for caring about nature. We’re determined to do all we can to save it. You’re a very important part of that which is why we’d love for you to opt in so we can let you know about the conservation, campaigning, research and fundraising work that we’re doing.

Participation Agreement

We invite you to gather, connect and celebrate how the arts help us deepen our relationship with the natural world. The Wonder, Loss and Action lobby will be an opportunity to connect and build a community about the nature issues we all care about, and meet MPs to remind them of the importance of nature and its recovery. The lobby will be a lawful, peaceful, and family-friendly event where all attendees will have a right to feel safe; violence of any kind will not be tolerated. The lobby will be open to everyone who wants to give nature a future; discrimination will have no place at the event. Please respect and be polite to everyone, including your MP.

Photography and videography opt-out

The RSPB will be undertaking photography and videography at the Wonder, Loss and Action lobby. If you do not want your image to be captured in this way, please make yourself known at the registration desk when you arrive. You will then be given a different coloured lanyard for your pass so that you can be easily identified.
